Tarushi Gaur of ‘The British School’ win 2 Gold medals in India-Malaysia Taekwondo Championship

Panchkula. Tarushi Gaur of The British School, Sector 12, Panchkula brought laurels to the school by winning 2 Gold medals in India-Malaysia Taekwondo Championship.

Championship was organised by Taekwondo Board of India and was held in Skating rink of Chandigarh on 7th & 8th October, 2018.

More than 200 players participated in the Championship from India and Malaysia.

Tarushi Gaur won her 1st Gold medal by defeating the player of Malaysia.

She won her 2nd Gold medal in POOMSAE which shows all the techniques of Taekwondo. Tarushi Gaur is earlier having world record in POOMSAE.

Tarushi who is having more than 200 medals in her kitty has been appreciated by the Mayor of Chandigarh Mr.Devesh Mudgil on this achievement.

Tarushi Gaur learns Taekwondo from Emerald Martial Arts Academy and her coach,  Mr.Shivraj Gharti is highly proud of her. She dreams of winning in Olympics while representing India.

School Director, Ms.Geetika Sethi, congratulated Tarushi Gaur and appreciated the efforts this young girl and her parents have been putting for her to achieve great heights.
