Phonic Workshop at The British School, Panchkula

Panchkula- The parents of pre -primary classes at The British School, Sector 8, Panchkula were today introduced to the easy techniques of reading English with the help of phonic sounds.  The Director -Principal, Ms Geetika Sethi informed that reading is a skill that takes time to develop. As parents and educators, we must appreciate the efforts of our children and support them in their cause. The British School Principal, Ms Anita Mehra shared that reading by joining sounds is a scientific way of learning to read. The teachers at The British School, Panchkula help children to associate sounds with alphabet. Thy also give the children ample practice of reading the same material again and again  as that makes them more confident. The participating parents enjoyed the phonic games like picture drawings and sing along and were appreciative of the school educators who put in commendable effort to make the children better readers.
