Kindergarteners of The British School celebrated Sports Day


Panchkula. Around 200 kindergarteners of The British School, Panchkula, celebrated Sports Day 2019. Chairperson of The British School, Mam Urmila Sethi graced the occasion with her presence and declared the Sports Meet open.

The parents were welcomed with songs and flower drill by the children. The event was a mélange of music, drills and races. The Fun and Frolic drill of LKG children and the exercise using frames was captivating.

It was wonderful to see the kids with the spirit of friendly competition. With an overload of innocence the children participated in the races. The little bunny race, jumpy the frog, alphabet race, thread the pasta were the races where the children showed great spirit and agility with buoyant heart.

To keep the sportsmanship spirit alive Director of the School, Ma’am Geetika Sethi and Principal of the School, Ma’am Anita Mehra awarded the winners.

Speaking on the occasion, School Principal, Ms.Anita Mehra said, “We at TBS firmly believe in the saying ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’ Sports not only help in developing Gross Motor skill but also helps in building confidence, discipline and inculcates habit to value time and team work.”
