The British School bags Overall trophy in Sqay Championship 2019-20

Panchkula – The two day 11th Panchkula District Cadet, Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior Sqay Championship 2019-20 concluded today at The British School, Sector 8, Panchkula. The competition attracted a large number of Martial art exponents from various schools. Students aged 6 to 18 Years participated with enthusiasm in various weight categories.

The British School swept away the overall Trophy in the cadet category with 40 points, Gurukul, Sec-29; Panchkula bagged the second position in the same category. In the junior category the first prize was bagged by Gurukul, Sec-20, Panchkula while Little Flower School Sec-14 stood second. The winners of the senior category were Alpine School, Pinjore.

Ms. Geetika Sethi, Principal- Director, The British School urged the young children to use both the body and the mind while practicing this popular form of Martial arts. She congratulated the winners, at the same time; Ms. Sethi exhorted the children to learn Martial arts not for the sake of winning but to make it a lifelong practice of a healthy lifestyle.
