Panchkula. A fortnight full of fun and enjoyment in the form of “Summer Explorama 2018” concluded amidst great fanfare at The British School Panchkula. During this period the children learnt new techniques of art and craft with recyclable waste like plastic bottles, fruit boxes and cereal boxes. They learnt stage craft including voice modulation, expression, stage presence and interaction with audience. The students had fun indulging in board games, splash pool, music and dance. Sehaj Sudan mentioned that her favorite activity was “No fire cooking” whereas Shivam Mahajan reveled in the water games. Splash pool was the common favorite of all participants. The school Director Mr. Sanjay Sethi said that it was heartwarming to see the happy children engaged in fun activities. They seemed full of confidence and joy. Such non-academic activities bring the much needed freshness into a child’s life and keep them busy in the long summer days.
