Saupin’s Panchkula wins British Council International School Award

Panchkula. A prestigious feather added to the cap of Saupin’s School, Panchkula. The school has proudly won the British Council International School Award (ISA) for 3 consecutive years 2018–21. The school took part in the programme by collaborating with different International Schools, viz. Coober Pedy Area in Australia, Delta Gemunupura Mahavidyalaya in Sri Lanka and Syed Hedatyullah Naqshbandi in Afghanistan for a gamut of activities. The exchange of activities among the schools was conducted via Skype sessions. Activities like favourite cartoons, women achievers and wild life protection laws of various countries were conducted after thorough research. Series of other activities were based on themes of Wild life conservation, Nuclear vs. Joint Family, Alternative Medicinal Practices, Healthy Lifestyle and The World of Stories. Each and every student of the school enthusiastically participated in all the activities. Two respective teachers, Mrs. Sumati Kapila and Mrs. Poonam Kandwal took up a special course to be ISA Co-ordinators and chartered the whole programme. It is indeed a very proud moment for the teachers as well as the students and they are basking in the glory of it. The Principal, Dr. Jayeta Auddy congratulated all the students and teachers in a special assembly.
