Saupin’s School organized Inter House Chess Competition

InterHouseChessComPanchkula. Saupin’s School, Panchkula organized Inter House Chess Competition for the students of classes 6 to 9. The competition was conducted in two categories viz Boys’ and Girls’. The students were told about the rules of the game. The students participated enthusiastically and posed tough competition to their opponents. Such competitions improve logical thinking, analytical reasoning and problem solving techniques of the students. In Boys’ category, Sycamore House came out with flying colours clinching first position followed by Maple, Aspen and Clover House securing second, third and fourth positions respectively. In Girls’ Category, Aspen House clinched first position followed by Clover, Maple and Sycamore House securing second, third and fourth positions respectively.

Also Intra House Tic-tac-toe competition was organised for the students of classes 1 to 5. The classic Tic-tac-toe is a paper and pencil game which the students like to play in their free time. The students were told that the player who succeeds in placing three of their marks in horizontal, vertical or diagonal row will win the game. The students had fun time playing one of their favourite games and participated wholeheartedly in the competition.
