saupins annual function saupins annual function1Panchkula: Saupin’s School, Panchkula celebrated its Annual Day with great pomp and show on 17th November, 2017 at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh. It was for the FIRST TIME IN THE TRICITY THAT A MUSICAL BROADWAY was presented by the students. ‘ALICE IN WONDERLAND’ was staged  by the students of classes Playgroup to 3rd. It was noteworthy that every child of the school
performed on the stage. Mrs. Mamta Sharma, City Magistrate of Panchkula graced the celebration by her presence. The celebration commenced with Shiv Vandana to invoke the blessings of the Almighty followed by ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest. The School Choir sung; Give me oil in my lamp and Imagine by John Lennon. The Principal, Dr. Jayeta Auddy highlighted the achievements of the school in the 'Annual Report' thereby congratulating all on the excellent Board results and getting a Tricity Topper in ICSE Boards this year and various other prominent achievements of the students at State as well as National Level. She announced that like last year, this year also the school recently has been awarded the Best ICSE School in the City’ by EducationToday.Co. Thereafter, the stage was enthralled by the exuberant and prolific performance of the students. The enchanting world of Alice, full of surprises at every step was very well showcased with the amalgamation of dance and drama by the children. Various Dance forms viz Contemporary, Tap Dance, Free style, Hip Hop, Greek Dance, Funk Basic etc were witnessed during Alice's journey. The scintillating and dazzling attire of the children along with spectacular performances and peppy numbers left the spectators spell bound. The Annual Day Celebrations concluded with the best wishes of the Chief Guest and her inspiring words motivating the students to excel in life. The show came to end with the National Anthem.
