Panchkula-Holi, one of the most boisterous festivals of India, was celebrated with a splash of colour by the students The British School, Panchkula. The event was a superb sharing of culture and fun. The children applied colourful ‘tikkas’ with organic eco-friendly colour and promised to play dry holi without any wastage of water. It was a great experience for everyone as the festival of Holi signifies the coming together of different communities and the celebration of the spirit of universal brotherhood. The UKG students said that they had been eagerly awaiting this day. It was indeed a fun-filled festival of colours which took place with a lot of joy and fervor. The school Director, Mr. Sanjay Sethi extended his warm wishes to the student and educator community of the school and sad that cultural activities such as these help students assimilate and appreciate the richness and diversity of India but also go a long way in enhancing the social and cultural fabric of the school’s multi religion community.
