Baisakhi celebration in Blue Bird High School, Panchkula    

DSC_0185Panchkula. Baisakhi, the festival of harvest and happiness was celebrated at Blue Bird High School on 13th April, 2018 with great zeal and enthusiasm by the students of kindergarten. All the tiny tots and teachers came dressed in traditional punjabi attires of yellow and orange colour. The atmosphere got brimmed up with Punjabi vigour and vitality. The teacher talked about the culture ,its pride and heritage. The little gabroos and mutiyars tapped their feet on the beats of dhol. Many activities were conducted and take away gifts were given to the each little one. Sweet yellow rice were made in the school for the staff members.
To mark this occasion, special assembly was organized. Speeches were delivered to highlight the importance of this day and poems were recited. On the same occasion tributes to Dr. Ambedkar , the father of the Indian constitution were also paid by delivering a speech.
The Principal, Mrs. Vandna, extended her best wishes to all the students and teachers for the occasion and expressed her heartfelt thanks to all the farmers who put in strenuous efforts to keep nourishing the sources of life for all of us.
